Dwyane Wade is a Shooting Guard for the Miami Heat. He was born in Chicago and had a rough childhood including parents divorce, mothers drug abuse and dealing, and moving to Illinois . He has been on the Heat for a number of years and has been the teams all-star for years with the opportunity of being team-mates with Lebron James and Chris Bosh. He played high school ball at Harold L. Richards High School where he was recruited to Marquette. He earned two major awards in college including Conference USA Player of the Year: 2003, and Consensus First Team All-American: 2003. Even though his college career Marquette was only three years he managed to make a huge impact and bring the team deep into the playoffs that year in 2003. He also put up a triple double becoming the fourth player in NCAA Tournament history to do it. He entered the draft instead of returning his senior year. His draft class was arguably one of the best draft classes of this era including the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James. He was drafted 5th overall in the draft by the Miami Heat.

Over his 12+ years in the NBA he managed to acquire 3 NBA Championships and would also go on to win multiple Olympic gold medals with the USA Team..
